Gator Afterschool Program (GAP)
The Gator Afterschool Program, administered by the Manhattan Beach Athletic Foundation, offers wonderful classes and unique learning opportunities for Grand View students outside normal school hours. There are three sessions offered at Grand View: Fall, Winter, and Spring. The goal is to provide our children the opportunity to supplement and enrich their current educational experiences in a familiar and safe environment. All classes are held at Grand View and are available to Grand View students in grades K-5.
For specific information regarding Grand View’s classes, please visit the GAP site or contact Nancy Rosenburg, Program Coordinator, who supervises all aspects of the enrichment program. If you have any questions, Nancy can be reached at (310) 376-6115 or nsrosenb@aol.com.
Dismissal Procedures: with the exception of Sound Arts, students in all classes will be dismissed from the lunch tables. For Sound Arts, students will be dismissed from the PAC unless parents submit in writing that their student be brought up to the lunch tables. In order for your child to walk home, please indicate on the registration packet or in writing or email to the Program Director or Coordinator.
Parents, we need your help. Occasionally, one of our on-site staff is ill or otherwise unable to be at the school for Enrichment activities. We do not have substitute personnel. We are looking for parents willing to be on-call to help with last-minute situations. You will not be obligated to help if called upon, but a volunteer pool would be greatly appreciated.
