“Three for Me” is a PTA program designed to effectively involve parents and families in support of children and their education. Grand View is adopting the “Three for Me” program to encourage ALL our parents to pledge 3 hours of volunteer time this school year. View the flyer!

Parent involvement in school is a major factor in determining a child’s success in school?
The National PTA has found several studies, specifically a study published by the Southwest Educational Development Laboratory, that show students with parents involved and volunteering at school are more likely to:
- Earn higher grades and test scores
- Be promoted, pass their classes, earn more credits
- Attend school regularly
- Have better social skills, show improved behavior, and adapt well to school
- Graduate and go on to post secondary education
