Grand View Book Fair

Get a jump on your holiday shopping at the Grand View Book Fair hosted by Mrs. Nelson’s, an acclaimed vendor reknowned for stocking school events with only the very best in book titles for both avid and reluctant readers.  There will also be a selection of books perfect for the adult readers on your gift-giving list.  The book fair is not only a fundraiser for the PTA, it is also an opportunity to celebrate books and reading with our young learners.  The fair will be open in the Cafeteria during parent/teacher conference week, and there will be a Family Night featuring food, fun, and shopping in a relaxed atmosphere.  Look for the Teacher/Staff Wish Lists to stock your child’s classroom and the Library with great new reads.  There will also be an Access Books donation box so anyone so inclined may purchase a new book to donate to an area school in need.

2012 Wild About Books Drawing Contest -  Have your child draw their most colorful “Wild About Books” drawing to be hung in the hallway as a way to help us promote the Book Fair.  The drawings are due to Heidi Snively by November 26th and the winner will receive a $5 gift certificate to the Book Fair.
