A Greater Gator is someone who helps PTA volunteers by completing four important transactions by September 26. Though the deadline has passed, you can still use this page to join and donate to the PTA, purchase yearbooks, and link to the MBEF donation page.
This year we have created an even easier, one-stop shop for our parents’ back-to-school transactions. All families who complete a Greater Gator purchase and make their annual MBEF donation by Thursday, September 26th will receive an exclusive Greater Gator Coffee Traveler and a family pass to the Pancake Breakfast!
The all-new Greater Gator Coffee Traveler and a family pass to the Pancake Breakfast are yours if you act by September 26!
To make it easy, we have combined the first three items into one page. MBEF annual donations must be made directly to MBEF by September 26.
1. Join the PTA and Donate
The Grandview PTA operates on a tight budget and spends well over $350 per child. It is critical that every family contributes at a level meaningful to them. The PTA will fund more than $250,000 in 2013-14 for technology enhancements, curriculum enrichment, assemblies, student organizations, field trips and much more! And remember, everyone who joins the PTA gets a Grand View Gator car magnet and a Student Directory!
($350 per child)
This is Grandview’s circle of strongest supporters. These supporters allow us to fund enrichment programs and go above and beyond so our children can have a quality education.
($250 per child)
Grandview’s silver circle of supporters are the foundation of the PTA membership drive. A family who gives at the silver amount gives the PTA the ability to fund most of the PTA programs and materials enjoyed by the number of students sponsored.
($150 per child)
Donating at the Bronze level is a generous way to support a substantial portion of the PTA programs and services at Grandview.
Last year’s yearbook cover featured a mural painted by all the fifth grade students.
2. Purchase Yearbooks
Get your child’s 112 page full-color yearbook, bound in a beautiful, custom designed hardcover now at an extra low price – only $26 per yearbook. Greater Gators purchase a yearbook for each of their children, because Grand View students can’t wait to get their yearbooks and collect signatures in their classrooms at the end of the school year.
3. Purchase Family Fun Night Tickets
Family Fun Night is Friday, September 27, 5:30P. Bring your beach chairs and sweatshirts to the lower playground and join the fun of this ‘welcome back to school’ tradition! We’ll be showing Mr. Popper’s Penguins on a big screen. Your ticket price of $15/person includes full dinner provided by Pachanga Restaurant. Ice cream, popcorn, Gator Gear and other fun items will also be available.
4. Make Your Annual Donation to MBEF
Small class sizes. Librarians. Advisors. Music teachers. Science Teachers. You won’t find them in this year’s state budget. You will find them in Manhattan Beach schools. Thanks to your generous donations last year, MBEF raised enough money to maintain our high-quality programs and the quality teachers that allow our district to be ranked THIRD
in the State. And the drive continues. Better schools. Better communities. Is there a better reason? This donation must be made directly to MBEF, so visit the MBEF website to make your donation
by September 26 to complete your Greater Gator membership.
