Gator Gratitude for our Volunteers

Last week at our Volunteer Breakfast our Teachers and Staff extended a heartfelt thank you to our extraordinary parent community. We are fortunate to have so many dedicated parent volunteers! At the breakfast we honored our PTA President, Heather de Roos, and our many graduating families who have touched the lives of our community in deep and lasting ways. I am grateful for your commitment and please know that your seeds of hope are forever in our hearts. Once a Gator always a Gator!

Please Join Us for the Courage Assembly, Monday June 11

Please join us Monday, 6/11 at 8:30am on the upper playground for our final assembly. We will celebrate COURAGE with special guest Casey Rohrer who will share his amazing and inspiring story of courage. Our creativity class will perform their original song "Hope," and we will bid a fond farewell to our 5th grade class, incredible student council leaders, and outgoing PTA President Heather de Roos.

Measure MB Passes!

Measure MB passed! Thank you to everyone who voted, held a sign or went door to door. Your efforts led to Measure MB passing with a more than 68% yes vote. The five minutes you took to vote has brought $2.6M annually to your school district for our teachers. A special thank you to Grand View parent, Jeff Serota, Robinson Elementary parent, Jen Fenton, and Pacific Elementary parent, Wysh Weinstein, all of whom worked tirelessly on the campaign. Record Year for the Gator Run and Spring Fair!

The Gator Run and Spring Fair was a huge success! We had a record 825 runners (both real and virtual) at the Gator Run, and we raised $33,300 for MBEF. A huge THANK YOU to the over 100 volunteers who helped put on this amazing event, to the local community and the MBPD for all their support, and to all the sponsors who contributed to making the event such a success!

PTA General Session and Proposed 2018-2019 PTA Board Slate

YOU'RE INVITED! All parents and teachers are invited to the PTA meeting this Thursday March 15 from 8:30-9:30am in the Cafeteria. The proposed 2018-19 PTA Executive Board slate will be presented and there will be discussions about school safety, teacher professional development and curriculum, the June parcel tax, and more.
