Grand View Beautification Day

THANK YOU to all who helped out on Beautification Day!

It was great to see so many families pitching in to make our pretty campus even more beautiful! Many thanks to all who volunteered! Special thanks go to Crisa Castro-Naoe, Chrissie Clay, Erika Thomson, Vanessa Sullivan, and Allison Madison. From turf installed on a formerly barren hill, to colorful pots and planters, there are visual delights at every turn and we appreciate it all!

Grand View's Beautification Day

Every year families come to campus a few days before school begins to spruce up our campus. It’s very gratifying to spend some time in the garden that you walk past everyday! Grab some friends to join in the fun! Bring your sunscreen, hat and gloves along with labeled garden tools and check in near the office to find out the areas earmarked for special attention.

Here’s what to expect:

  • Meet at the upper playground
  • Check out classroom lists and find out teachers
  • Put on some garden gloves and clean up the campus
  • Find out how you can get involved in the classroom as a Room Parent, Grades of Green, Growing Great, Young at Art docent or in the Science Lab
  • Be the first to be a Grateful Gator – Join PTA and donate to MBEF
  • Get the details on Run Club
  • Stock up on Gator Gear & get ready to wear green on Fridays
  • Snacks and water will be provided
  • …and of course catch up with Grand View friends!
