The STEAM Expo is an engaging and interactive expo free for families where students have a chance to stretch their minds in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math.
Last year, students experienced:
The Roundhouse Aquarium Touch Tank
Magic of Science Show
Hands-On Experiments in the Rose Garden
Animal Show (where they can pet the animals!)
Build a Life-Size Structure in Makerspace
Bubblemania Science of Bubbles Show
Magic of Microscopes with LA County Library Outreach Team
Make Your Own Catapult at the Camp Galileo Make & Take Booth (and a chance to win a free week of Galileo Camp!)
Tour a Veterinarian's Office, complete with surgery, lab, and x-ray capabilities
Hands on Activity with the Mira Costa Neuroscience Club
STEM career presentations
AND, a brand new BMX Stunt Show that will expose you to science concepts like you’ve never
seen before!
Plan to stay for dinner and visit the food trucks - 10% of the proceeds are donated to Grand View.
Parent volunteers needed! The STEAM Expo is always a great time and a fun way to volunteer and help Grand View.  Please sign up here - signup coming.

Parents or students interested in participating in the STEAM Expo as an exhibitor/presenter should contact Samantha Maynard or Karina Kraines, co-chairs of this year’s STEAM Expo.
